Reflex Racing: RX538 Aluminum Gear Differential

Reflex Racing's all new Gear differential was designed to be a high quality and high performance addition to your 1/28 scale car. More rotation and harder acceleration than the ball differential yields a car that is often about a tenth faster to drive in high traction surfaces. The feel of this gear diff is very balanced and this makes the acceleration super smooth and strong. At only about 4.7g, it is also super light for less rotational mass.

The gear diff is sealed from the elements as the gears are inside a machined aluminum case in which you can larger amounts of grease to change the behavior of the differential action. The ticker the grease, the lower response into the corner, but this could be at the expense of a little bit of exit traction. Reflex does not recommend going too heavy on the oil (maybe use no more than 1 or 2k CST oil), but you can use oil with no leakage at the spur and only slight leaking at the outputs.
